ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, on Saturday said his actions do not need a ‘signal’ and all that he has achieved in life was the result of his endeavours.
“Imran Khan does not need any signal. Whatever I did in my life, I did it on my own,” he said while addressing the crowd gathered to participate in his ongoing sit-in in Parade Ground.
Imran Khan said his party would never surrender before ‘oppression’.
He said when he would come to power then the people would have all the right to ask him about the sources of his income and wealth.
“If I am the prime minister or member of National Assembly, the people have all the right to enquire whether or not I pay me taxes,” he reiterated.
He said Dr Afia Siddiqui was handed over along with her three kids to the US. “No distinction can be made between animals and such a nation,” he regretted.
“We have to become one nation …. we will never let anyone face such atrocity in the future,” he vowed.
He warned the present Inspector General (IG) Police Punjab, Mushtaq Sukhera, that even Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif would not be able to save him. “I will have you put behind bars” he said.
He alleged that 45 people were fired at by the police in Islamabad on the orders of CM Punjab and that cases will be lodged against Shahbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar.
