ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday suspended membership of Javed Hashmi for issuing what it said ‘statements against the party’.
In this regard, the party served him a show-cause notice, seeking an explanation from Hashmi over his media statements issued until September 29 in violation of the party’s policy.
The show-cause notice was issued to him from PTI Secretary General Jehangir Tarin.
