Rangers arrest 30 MQM workers during raid at MPA office: Sabzwari

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) parliamentary leader in the Sindh Assembly, Faisal Sabzwari has said that Rangers conducted raid at party’s MNA and MPA office and took 30 workers into custody, Geo News reported.

Speaking to media, MQM leader said the raid was conducted at a time when party workers’ meeting was being held for collection of hides of the sacrificial animals on Eid-ul-Azha.

He said during the raid, women workers were also humiliated, adding that even he was not allowed to enter his office.

MQM leader demanded the government and DG Rangers to take notice of the matter and the party workers be released.
