Four accused killed in Karachi police encounter

KARACHI: Four accused were killed when they exchanged fire with police near Super Highway in Karachi, Geo News reported.

According to SSP Malir Rao Anwaar, police was conducting a search operation in Machar Colony area at Super Highway when the accused opened firing on police team and also hurled a hand grenade.

During the retaliatory action by the police, two culprits were killed on the spot while two others were injured and were arrested by police.

The injured accused were being shifted to hospital but they succumbed to their injuries.

The killed criminals were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
