Deja vu moment: Imran stumbles on container

LAHORE: Pictures of last year’s fall of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan from the lifter flashed back in people’s minds when he took the stage to address thousands of supporters in Lahore on Sunday.

Today, Imran Khan climbed on top of the stage to wave to the supporters who had gathered in thousands at Minar-e-Pakistan.

As he stood behind the iron bar, he got pushed from behind and almost lost his balance. But, fortunately, the PTI Chairman managed to maintain his balance and pushed away the crowd that almost made him fall.

The incident brought back to mind the harrowing images of his last year’s drop from the lifter as it escalated to take him and other members of the party to the stage.

Imran Khan had to be hospitalized and it took him months to fully recover from the serious backbone and other injuries.
