ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has served a notice on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, warning him against disconnection of power supply if dues were not cleared for his Bani Gala residence.

The notice cautions him to clear the dues against use of electricity within seven days, failing which his connection would be severed. It says not only the installations of WAPDA would be taken off his Bani Gala residence, but other connections in his name, if any, would also be disconnected.

Electricity bills for Imran Khan’s three meters have been issued for the month of September while his bills for August also remain unpaid.

The dues for three bills including arrears amount to Rs87,637, Rs28,955 and Rs14,174.
