ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday restored Ikramullah Gandapur of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Geo News reported.
The SC overruled an election tribunal’s decision of disqualifying Gandapur from KP Assembly over his fake degree.
Last week, an election tribunal in Peshawar disqualified KP minister for agriculture Ikram Ullah Gandapur over his fake degree, and ordered re-election in PK-67 Dera Ismail Khan constituency.
