Peshawar to get 5 new grounds: Advisor to PM

PESHAWAR: The federal government has announced building of 5 new grounds in Peshawar to promote cricket.

The announced was made by adviser to Prime Minister for sports Chaudary Saleem at a dinner to honour the national T-20 champions Peshawar Panthers.

He also said that the Prime Minister was more than interested promoting sports in Khyber Pakhtun Khuan.

Chaudary Saleem said that surveys had been completed of five different areas for building the grounds and soon work will commence on these projects.

According to the sports advisor a Prime Minister sports development program is about to be launched for the improvement in the standards of sports.
