2kg heroin recovered from passenger at Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD: Custom officials have detained a passenger at Benazir International Airport in Islamabad after recovering 2kg heroin from his possession, Geo News reported.

The passenger identified as Abid Hussain was traveling to Birmingham Britain via Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-791.

The custom officials seized heroin from Abid’s bag and jacket while scrutinizing his luggage at the airport.

Officials said Abid Hussain hails from Nowshera.
