Five killed in various incidents in Lahore

LAHORE: Five persons were killed in various incidents in Lahore including two women in the name of honour, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

According to police, a man named Mudassir along with his cousin Zulfiqar stabbed his mother and sister to death in the name of honour in Naseerabad area of Lahore.

Police reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to hospital for autopsy.

In another incident, accused Umair opened fire on two men after having a verbal spat with them and killed them in Safiqabad area. The accused fled after killing the two men.

Police filed the case and launched search operation to apprehend the culprit.

An FIA agent identified as Asghar was found dead in his house in Johar Town. He was shot into head by unknown gunmen. His body was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
