MULTAN: PML-N workers surrounded the hotel of Sheikh Rasheed pelting it with stones and chanting 'Go Imran Go' here on Thursday.

Rasheed was scheduled to hold a press conference at the hotel in Multan but canceled it due to the protests. Sheikh Rasheed alleged that police had brought along the PML-N workers.

Later PTI workers arrived outside the hotel and there was an exchange of slogans between the two sides.

PML-N leader, Billu Butt said the protesters were not PML-N workers, adding that protesting was everyone's right and Sheikh Rasheed should tolerate this.

Sheikh Rasheed later held his news conference at the Press Club in Multan. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will hold the largest rally in the history of Multan on Friday.

Rasheed added that Nawaz Sharif would be followed by the 'Go Nawaz Go' slogan wherever he went.
