LAHORE: Dengue virus has affected eleven more people in various parts of the Punjab, taking the number of dengue-hit cases in the biggest province of Pakistan to a whopping 207.
According to Health Department of Punjab, 8 out of 11 patients were reported in Rawalpindi while three in the capital city of Lahore. They are under treatment at Holy Family and Meo hospitals.
Rawalpindi has been worst-hit by the dengue virus, as 116 cases have been reported from the garrison city. Lahore is next with 39 cases while 32 people were affected in Shaikhupura.
