Rs5 million announced for heirs of BDS Sub Inspector

KARACHI: Authorities concerned have announced Rs5 million for the heirs of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) Sub Inspector, who lost his life while defusing a bomb, Geo News reported.

Police officer Muhammad Saleem was critically injured 15 days back while defusing bomb in Tando Allayar and died at a Karachi hospital.

After news on Geo TV, the police high ups reached the hospital, however, Saleem had succumbed to injuries before their arrival.

Later, Rs5 million was announced for his family.
