Anti-polio drive underway in Balochistan

QUETTA: The three day anti-polio drive is underway in 11 districts of Balochistan including Quetta.

Manager IPI, Dr Muhammad Ishaq said besides Quetta the anti-polio drive will be held in Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Zhob, Sherani, Lora Lai, Killa Saifullah, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Musa Khel and Lasbela.

The drive will aim to administer polio drops to over 1.3 million children in the province and 3,089 mobile teams have been formed for this purpose.

Arrangements have also been made to administer polio drops at transit points of these 11 districts.
