Ahmed Shehzad hopeful to join squad for 3rd test

WEBDESK: Doctors have advised Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad bed-rest for 3-weeks to nurse his hairline fracture.

Shehzad told Geo News, that he will be heading home to rest and recover. He added that while he is feeling much better he is unable to fully open his eye.

Shehzad suffered a hairline fracture when the ball struck his helmet as he chased scoring a second century against New Zealand.

He is hopeful that he can join the squad for the 3rd test which will commence on the 26th of November.
