Mamnoon opposes restrictions over polio

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday urged the International community not to impose further restrictions on Pakistan over polio disease.


According to a statement issued here, President Mamnoon said Pakistan’s foreign policy was based on good relationships with the international community including India.

“I expect Pakistan-India relationship will improve”, Mamnoon added. Applauding Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, President Mamnoon said the premier had taken several key steps to improve bilateral relations with
