KARACHI: Karachi police arrested two teenage gang war accused and recovered hand grenade, pistol and two snatched motorcycles from their custody, Geo News reported.
According to details, the accused opened fire when police signaled four suspects riding on two motorcycles in Dhobi Ghat area of Garden to stop. After retaliatory fire, two accused were nabbed while two others managed to flee.
The accused confessed to the crime before journalists, saying that their gang war chief gives them Rs1500 to Rs2000 per day for snatching cell phones and motorcycles. They said they used to be tortured if refused to do so.
They further said more than 20 boys aged between 14 to 18 years were working for their group.
