Decision to halt gas supplies to industries deferred

ISLAMABAD: Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) has deferred the decision to halt gas supply to industries of the country from November 15, Geo News reported.

According to SNGC officials, the gas supply to industry is not being suspended because of better weather conditions, adding that final decision in this regard will be made by the ministry of petroleum on November 17.

The officials said the notice of three-month gas closure had already been served to 3000 industries, however, gas meters will be removed from these industries after final decision of the ministry.
