Blast kills policeman in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: A blast near a police patrol van killed a policeman and injured another cop here in Shabqadar market, Khyber Pakhuntkhwa province.

The spokesman of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Jamat al Ahrar Group, Shahidullah Shahid telephoned Geo News and claimed credit of the attack.

The body of the deceased and the injured cop were shifted to a hospital.
