Solar panels to be installed in Punjab schools: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said that provincial government was planning to install ‘solar panels’ in primary schools and taking effective steps to overcome energy crisis.

Addressing a meeting here, Punjab CM said that a strategy was being devised to install solar panels in the schools, adding that using this program the government would ensure uninterrupted power supply to the schools.

Shahbaz Sharif added that he has directed the concerned authorities to make a business model to install solar panels at rural health centres as well.
