LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned killing of party’s district Sialkot vice president Bao Muhammad Anwar and urged media for coverage of the incident, Geo News reported.

Altaf Hussain said MQM worker Bao Anwar had opened his restaurant recently and was gunned down late night. He said police, instead of apprehending the accused, remained silent spectator.

Altaf Hussain also criticized media for not giving suitable coverage to MQM’s Youm-e-Shuhada (Martyrs Day) ceremony.

He urged media to visit the family of Bao Anwar and give full coverage of the incident.
