ISLAMABAD: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq on Monday said all the political parties would ask the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to sit in the parliament, if the incumbent government fulfills its promise to constitute the proposed Judicial Commission.

Talking to media men after meeting PTI vice president Shah Mehmood Qureshi, he said Peshawar tragedy has turned Pakistan into ‘Karbala’, urging the government to declare 2015 as year of peace.

He said the nation and the political parties have given their mandate to the government, adding ‘let’s see how the government will establish order in the country’.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said all the issues are expected to be resolved in the next meeting depending on what he called a ‘positive attitude’ of the government.

The PTI heavyweight further said practical steps should be taken to eradicate terrorism from the country, asking the government to use all the available resources to rid Pakistan of the scourge of terrorism.
