Highlight terror related seminaries, Ashrafi asks govt

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Allama Tahir Ashrafi Friday demanded of the government to highlight those religious seminaries involved in terror activities.

Talking to newsmen here, Allama Tahir Ashrafi said those seminaries and mosques pointed out by the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar should be brought into light.

“Seventy-three thousand mosques condemned the terrorism after Jummah prayers today”, he added.

He said malicious propaganda against the seminaries and mosques in the name of ‘War against terror’ should be stopped.
