Nawaz to chair high level meeting

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair a high level meeting to review implementation of national plan against terrorism.

Sources said that Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, Director General ISI Lt General Rizwan Akhtar, federal ministers, attorney general and other officials will attend the meeting.

The meeting would be briefed about operation Zarb-e-Azb and over all security situation.

Issues related to amendment in army act, and constitutional affairs regarding military courts would also come under discussion.

The sources said that the meeting would finalize effective mechanism between civilian institutions and the military.
