KARACHI: An official of Ahle-Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat (ASWJ) was killed in Market no. 24 in a firing incident in Karachi’s Baldia Town area on Saturday.

According to a spokesperson for the ASWJ, the victim’s name was Abdul Hakeem Arif Siddiq, official of ASWJ.

According to sources, armed assailants on a motorbike fired upon Abdul Hakeem leaving him critically wounded. He was immediately taken to hospital but he succumbed to his wounds.
