MQM announces to continue protest on Monday

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Sunday announced to continue its protest against extra judicial killing of its workers on Monday.

The MQM asked the traders and transporters to suspend their activities on Monday as the party plans to ‘observe shutter down in Sindh and another mourning day across country”

The Rabita Committee said that the party would announce it future course of action if demands were not met on Monday.

The MQM staged a protest demonstration outside the Chief Minister House with dead bodies of the deceased workers.

Earlier, speaking to the protesters by telephone from London, MQM chief said that the protest would continue if chief minister didn't give any assurance with regard to arrest of murderers.
