ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered Capital Development Athourity (CDA) to bring an end to all commercial activities in residential area of the capital within three months.

Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddique of IHC dismissing 23 petitions against CDA’s bylaws related to commercial activities issued a 19 page judgment.

The IHC has ordered CDA to take immediate action against commercial activities such as guest houses, restaurants, educational institutes, private clinics, beauty parlours, display centers, TV channels, showrooms and offices of government departments established in residential areas.
