PCB request reassessment of Hafeez’s action as soon as possible

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has upped it’s efforts to get the bowling action of M.Hafeez reassessed.

PCB have requested International Cricket Council (ICC) for a bio mechanic test of the Bowling action of M.Hafeez.

Initially the PCB had planned to get his action reassessed after the ODI series against New Zealand but as the report of the test is issued after 14 days, Hafeez would not be able to bowl in the first two matches of the World Cup.

Now the PCB are trying to arrange for a test on the 26th of January so that the results are received before the World Cup.

If the action is cleared then Hafeez would be available to bowl in the important matches against India and W-Indies.
