PESHAWAR: Malala Yousafzai, the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate, telephoned one of the wounded students of Peshawar school attack on Monday and inquired after his health.

In her telephonic conversation with student Ahmed Nawaz, Malala said all those martyred and injured in the Dec 16 attack were ‘national heroes’ and their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

She also assured father of Ahmed Nawaz of her assistance in the treatment of his injured child.
