KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Tuesday said that any new Madressa (seminary) to be established will require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and strict action will be taken against any Madressa trying to occupy an area forcefully.
While addressing the media, the minister said that the Sindh government is entirely focused and determined to root out terrorists upon receiving information from intelligence agencies and that several key terrorists have been killed.
Reaffirming the commitment to wipe out terrorists for good, he said that force not dialogue was required to tackle terrorism.
He went on to say that apex committees have been setup for various divisions in Sindh, while training will be provided to police by SSG commandoes as well as personnel will be trained for the new Counter Terrorism Force (CTF) for the province. He also announced an increase in benefits for all personnel in security forces.
