PML-Q assures PPP of support in Punjab Senate elections

LAHORE: PML-Q has announced its support for Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for the senate elections in Punjab.

According to PPP sources former president Asif Ali Zardari called PML-Q chief Chaudary Shujaat Hussain to discuss the situation of the Senate elections.

Sources revealed that the PML-Q chief said that he would not take part in the Senate elections but assured PPP of his complete support.
