Pir Mazhar’s guard found hanging from ceiling fan

DADU: A security guard of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Pir Mazharul Haq was found dead as his body hanged from a ceiling fan in the latter’s house.

Police officials said the death appears to be the result of suicide. However, a brother of the deceased believes that it was a murder.

The body of the security guard, Ali Nawaz, has been shifted to a hospital for an autopsy.

His brother told Geo News that Ali Nawaz had been serving as security guard for Pir Mazharul Haq’s house for the past 35 years.

The police said that the case would be investigated in the light of the findings of the medical report.
