ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Pervez Rashid said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should understand that foreign policy is not formulated out on streets.

In a statement issued here, Pervez Rashid said a joint sitting of the upper and lower houses has been convened and that only Parliament will make a final decision over Saudi-Yemen issue.

He said Imran Khan had only secured 200,000 votes in the elections before 2013. “From this fact, should one draw the conclusion that 7.4 million more votes cast for Imran Khan in 2013 were bogus,” he asked.

The Information Minister said Imran Khan’s performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has exposed what the latter is capable of.

“Isn’t it strange that a person who lives in a palatial house spreading over 700 canal land pays only Rs150,000 in taxes?” he wondered, demanding of Imran Khan to tell the people where the money is coming from to finance his ‘lavish lifestyle’.

He said Imran Khan should take those people to task who are seen on his left and right over updating him late on the latest news.
