KARACHI: At least five terrorists were killed Wednesday in an ecnounter with Rangers personnel near Karachi's Keamari area, said a spokesman for the paramilitary force.

According to the Rangers spokesperson, two personnel were also injured in the clash, which took place in Tapo area near Keamari.

Rangers personnel acted on a tip-off about the presence of the wanted terrorists and conducted a raid in the area.

The spokesman said that the terrorists retaliated and stating firing their wepaons and also hurled grenades on the paramilitary personnel.

5 terrorists were killed in the exchange of gunfire, while two Rangers were injured, he said.
