KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah announced on Wednesday that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would hold a rally in Lyari on April 26.

The chief minister informed reporters that former President Asif Ali Zardari would attend the PPP rally in Lyari. Chief Minister Shah said the provincial government has spent Rs3 billion on development projects in Lyari which remained a disadvantaged area.

CM Shah questioned where Nabil Gabol was for the last five years as there was no educational or health facilities in Lyari.

Qaim Ali Shah spoke of by-elections in NA-246 being free and fair calling it a sensitive area.
