Saad Rafique still a minister on Fed cabinet website

LAHORE: Khawaja Saad Rafique still continues to appear as minister for Railways on the website of Federal Cabinet, days after he lost his National Assembly membership in the wake of an Election Tribunal’s verdict, ordering reelection in Lahore’s NA-125 Constituency.

The Election Tribunal had handed down its verdict on May 4.

Six days after the decision of election tribunal, Saad Rafique is still placed on federal cabinet website as minister for Railways.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced to appoint Saad Rafique as his adviser on Railways. However, a notification to this effect is yet to be issued.
