DHAKA: Lauding his team’s Test series win over Bangladesh, former fast bowling great and Pakistan coach Waqar Younis on Saturday said that he respects his critics but had stopped listening to their analysis.
Speaking exclusively to Geo News, he said that a much needed victory has been achieved by the team after a log delay and his next target was to improve the one-day side.
The coach said that his duty was to find good talent for the national cricket team, adding that he sees his future with the team.
Terming the upcoming home series with Zimbabwe as vital for Pakistani cricket, Younis said cricket was returning to the country with the series.
“This is just a beginning and more teams will follow Zimbabwe in the future,” he added.
