Couple shot dead for ‘honour’ in Lahore

LAHORE: Gunmen on Tuesday killed a boy and a girl in the suburbs of the provincial capital in what appears to be incident of honour killing.

According to police, Tahir, a resident of Patoki came to meet a girl in Chohang area where father and others relatives of the girl shot both the boy and the girl dead after finding them together.

Police said that the father of the girl and his two accomplices have been arrested while the gun used in the murders has also been seized.

The bodies were shifted to a morgue for medico-legal formalities.
