KARACHI: A court summons may be a nightmare for a common citizen, but it seems other way round when it comes to well-heeled or well known.
Judging by appearances of Ayyan Ali, a Pakistan diva facing charges of money laundering, one might say stress related to court summons is no more relevant.
On Saturday, Dr Zulfiqar Mirza too, who has caught media’s attention by launching verbal salvos against his former buddy and Pakistan People’s Party co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, appeared in a local court in quite a different style.
Dr Mirza was wearing a cowboy hat and sunglasses as he came to attend a court hearing.
It appears that presence of large number of people and media men is quite enough inspiration for fashionable suspects.
