KARACHI: Karachi traffic police is set to fine the motorcyle riders (both men and women) in case they fail to wear helmet with effect from Tuesday (June 9).

The earlier announcement from the traffic police made it mandatory for the motorcycle rider as well as the pillion to wear helmet.

In case of failing to comply with the new regulation, a fine of Rs150 per violator will be imposed. In case of riding pillion without helmets, both will be fined, regardless of whether the pillion is a male or female.
