39 held in Karachi operation

KARACHI: As many as 39 suspects were rounded up in pre-dawn raids carried out by Rangers and police in two different areas of the city.

Sources said that the paramilitary troops raided a residential complex in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on a tip off. At least 14 suspects were taken into custody and moved to undisclosed location for interrogation.

Dr Najib, SSP Malir, said that police arrested 35 people during a search operation in Shah Latif Town.
