LAHORE: Indian singer Sukhbir Singh successfully dodged Pakistani airport officials at the Allama Iqbal International Airport here after $27,000 were reportedly recovered from his possession on Sunday.

The Bhangra singer was boarding a Dubai-bound flight when stopped by the customs authorities for carrying more money than what is legally allowed.

He somehow managed to dodge the officials when was being taken away for interrogation, sources told Geo News, adding that he also succeeded in securing his belongings that were left at the airport later on.
