PTI, PPP demand resignations of provincial ECs

ISLAMABAD: After the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), now Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah has demanded resignations from all four provincial election commissioners.

A delegation of PTI on Wednesday met Khursheed Shah to seek his party’s support in demanding resignations of provincial election commissioners.

Khursheed Shah said the provincial election commissioners had been appointed by a committee headed by him and now he admits his mistake.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi of PTI stressed on seeking the resignations of provincial election commissioners, accusing them of fueling the political turmoil in the country.
