Akhtar Kanju expresses support to PTI in Lodhran by-polls

MULTAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Akhtar Kanju has announced his support to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jehangir Tareen in the upcoming by-elections in Lodhran.

Addressing a press conference along with Jehangir Tareen, Akhtar Kanju accused the N-League of carrying out organized rigging in the general elections of 2013.

“Even every single child that lives in Lodhran is aware of the rigging in 2013 general elections,” he added.

PTI Secretary Gerneal Jehangir Tareeen, on the occasion, said: “We politicians have gathered at one platform for the sake of people.”

Later, talking to Geo News, Jehangir Tareen said instead of hiding behind courts the N-leauge should come out on the ground and compete with PTI.
