Model Ayyan vows to prove her innocence in court

RAWALPINDI: The hearing of currency smuggling case against supermodel Ayyan Ali was adjourned without any further proceedings till October 8.

The model was presented before the court of Customs Judge Rana Aftab, where she was to be indicted in the currency smuggling case. However, the judge was on leave and she was presented before Banking Court Judge Sabir Sultan.

The court, without any proceeding, adjourned the hearing until Oct 8.

Speaking to the media outside the court, Ayyan vowed that she would prove her innocence in court, adding that she was facing legal proceedings for the first time in her life.
