PESHAWAR: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Patron in Chief, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited Peshawar's Lady Reading Hospital on Thursday afternoon to inquire about the health of those injured in Earthquake.

However, upon his arrival the hospital was completely taken over in the name of security and the otherwise quiet hospital atmosphere was transformed into a mini political rally with throngs of Jiyalas and loud slogans echoing through the halls, much to the patients and their attendants dismay.

Bilawal's intention was to inquire after the health of the quake victims who have suffered injuries, but his arrival added to their problems with many attendants left stranded outside not allowed in, unable to attend to their loved ones under treatment.

Besides the large contingent of security personnel, party supporters and workers, the PPP patron in chief was accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah as well as Sherry Rehman.

The PPP patron in chief wasn't the first to call at the Lady Reading Hospital, even though the Chief Minister of the province had appealed that VIP's should stay away and let doctors tend to the patients, PTI Chairman Imran Khan and his wife Reham Khan also called on the patients, but by all standards Bilawal's arrival was the loudest.
