Karachi operation visibly improved law, order: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Monday said the ongoing targeted crackdown against criminal elements in Karachi has brought about a visible improvement in law and order there and asked the Rangers to take similar steps in collaboration with police in the interior parts of Sindh.

According to a statement issued here at the Interior Ministry, Director General Rangers Sindh telephoned Chaudhry Nisar and briefed him about the law and order situation during the recent Local Government elections besides Karachi operation.

“Karachi operation has brought about visible improvement in the metropolis and the crackdown should be further intensified,” the Interior Minister asserted.

Citing the violent incident that created a law and order situation in the interior parts of Sindh, Chaudhry Nisar said the Rangers should take steps in collaboration with police to bring normalcy in upper Sindh.
