ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has tendered an apology over his behavior to the journalist, who infuriated him by asking a question about split with Reham Khan.
Imran Khan said, “I greatly respect the journalists, however, I can’t listen any word against Reham Khan.”
All Pakistan Unions of Press Clubs and other journalist bodies have demanded that Imran Khan should tender an apology for insulting a journalist failing which journalists will boycott PTI and stage protests.
While addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Tuesday, Khan had lost his temper and attacked a journalist’s character when asked about his ability to judge people around him.
The question asked, was regarding Imran Khan’s inability to judge people when picking team members, whether it be in his political or private life – those he selects end up ditching him in the end.
Responding to the journalist Imran Khan said, that every society has some form of etiquette every individual has some dignity and some manners.
Khan told the journalist that he should be ashamed of himself to ask questions about someone’s personal life. He added, that in many households people go through painful trauma and by asking such a question he has not embarrassed him, but rather has shown his own Auqaat (worth – in a derogatory way).
