PESHAWAR: "People would forget the atrocities of Taliban if Daesh was not stopped from making inroads into Pakistan," said Awami National Party (ANP) leader Asfandyar Wali Khan on Tuesday.
Talking to newsmen here in Peshawar, the ANP leader said some international powers were bent on turning Pashtoon land into a battleground by using Daesh as their tool.
He linked the successful completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with the establishment of peace in the neighbouring Afghanistan.
Asfandyar warned that rifts between international powers will leave a negative impact on CPEC.
