Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema told MPA Nazeer Chohan to stop 'carrying out drama like people of Lahore'
LAHORE: Federal Housing Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab lawmaker Nazeer Chohan exchanged heated words over water and sewage issues at the federal colony.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, it can be seen that the federal minister left the meeting hall in view of the rising intensity.
The MPA affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf said that the issues of the federal colony must be addressed by the centre according to its mandate.
The federal minister responded that he is listening to the grievances but the MPA should stop 'carrying out drama like people of Lahore', further adding that the MPA brought people with him to build pressure.
Chohan said that either the minister should resolve the issue or give colony to the WASA administration.
